We are so excited to feature this amazing Momma today – Jennifer Whitley. Jennifer is the co-owner of Re:Gen Pilates and from the moment you meet her – you will absolutely love her! She’s a firecracker and will completely kick your a$$ in a pilates, spin or large fitness class at here studio – with a smile and a whole lotta love! She’s incredibly knowledgable on pilates and we feel fortunate to have gotten to know her over the past year.

1. Tell us a little bit about you! 
I am a fairly new resident of Prosper, TX. I am originally from East Texas where my husband Eddie and I grew up together. He had a 20 year career in the Navy flying jets and I can say that was one of the hardest journeys thus far. Raising children and running a business all on your own is a lot, but you just do it. I began opening Pilates studio and would either sell or close every three years to only restart again. Lots of great experiences, there is a reason for everything. We are loving retired life in our new home in the DFW area.
2. How many kids do you have and what are their ages?
I have 2 beautiful girls, Sarah is 12 and Ally is 14.
3. What’s your favorite thing about being a mom?
I have loved every single phase thus far. I love that my girls are so different and keep me on my toes.
4. How did you end up in DFW?
While Eddie gave 20 years to the military, he also told me I could choose anywhere I wanted to live, so I did. I have always loved the DFW area. There is this great energy here and I couldn’t resist.
5. What do you love about Frisco?
Lots to do, great places to eat.
6. What’s your favorite restaurant in Frisco?

7. What’s your favorite place to shop in Frisco?
Love the boutiques on Main in Frisco. Seem to always end up at Stonebriar Nordstrom.
8. What’s your favorite thing to do when you need some “me time”?

9. Tell us about your career.
I love people! I am a Pilates/Fitness instructor and Owner of Re:Gen Pilates in Prosper. I have had years of experience that has led me to Prosper. I have owned studios and sold or closed as I moved every three years as a military family. Dabbled in Franchising were I realized I wasn’t a fan of for me. This gave me so much grief and frustration at the time with all the moves but truly gave me experience all over the country in different markets to do what I love. This gave me the confidence to open bigger and set no limits on our business here in Prosper.
10. What do you love about your career? 
I love changing people’s lives. Not just fitness the fitness end… it’s so much more. We want you to take care of your inside just as much as the outside. After all, if the inside is broken you will never be where you want to be. So I love seeing these amazing changes happen. Makes it so worth it!
11. What is one thing you look forward to every year?
Christmas!!! If you know me I add Christmas trees every year. It makes me so happy and I love passing along our traditions to my kids.
12. How do you juggle your career with being a mom and wife? 
I juggle… literally! I have carpools set up and I also have a best friend who is my ride or die and we both help juggle our kids together. Everyone should have a ride or die, or your person! Seriously we choose nights to cook and we all eat together on those nights to take the load off of the other. It’s awesome! Also Re:Gen’s motto for all our team is family first no matter what. So we all help each other.
13. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another mom?
There will never be a good time… This statement is so true. Just do it! Whatever it is that you want… a baby, a new career, write a book… whatever! It’s so true if you wait one day you’ll wake up and time will be gone.
14. What’s one fun fact about you?
I was a musical theatre major. I sing, dance and play the piano. I am completely driven by music and I make a playlist that start and end every Pilates class just perfect. It’s a music person thing lol.
